Forget Perfect—Just Delegate Your Way

We often hear that delegation is a skill. And it’s true. You can take courses on it, read books about it, and attend training sessions that break it down into bullet points and flowcharts. There’s a whole industry built on helping people learn how to delegate the "right" way.

But here’s the thing no one talks about enough: delegation can feel really hard.

If you’ve ever found yourself thinking, “It’s just quicker if I do it myself”—you’re not alone. Delegating means you have to pause, explain, think it through, consider how your message will land, and hope it’s interpreted the way you meant it. For busy business owners or self-employed people already spinning multiple plates, that extra mental load can be the tipping point.

That’s why most of my customers don’t delegate through formal emails or carefully crafted to-do lists. They delegate through voice notes—and I absolutely love it.

I’ll often get a message recorded mid-shop at Aldi, while someone’s walking the dog, or sitting in the car waiting for school pick-up. It’s usually a bit rambled, full of thought processes, ideas, concerns—and often a commentary on the weather or what’s for tea.

And that’s perfect.

Because behind the ramble is a clear set of tasks. A list of actions. A bunch of things that are weighing on someone’s mind, and now don’t have to be. I take the voice note, pull out the important bits, and just get it done.

✅ No fuss.

✅ No need to polish your thoughts.

✅ No pressure to do it the “right” way.

One customer recently said to me:"You’re one of only two people who just get what I mean. I send you a garbled voice note and you quietly produce exactly what was in my head—but better. I don’t know how you do it!"

Truth is… this is what I do.

My job is to make your life easier. Whether you're grabbing the shopping, dropping the kids off, or cooking dinner, if something pops into your head that needs sorting—just send me a voice note. I’ll listen, make sense of it, and quietly get on with it.

This is a partnership. It’s not about perfect processes or polished project plans. It’s about making things work in real life.

So, if you’ve been holding back from delegating because it feels like just another task to manage… you don’t need a strategy. You just need someone who gets it.

🎤 Forget perfect.

📲 Send the voice note.

💪 Let’s get things done—together.
