When "Quiet Andiamo Summer" Didn't Get the Memo

I don't know who told me summer would be quiet, but I'd like a word with them.
July has been one of the busiest months since I started Andiamo, and I mean that in the best possible way. Six new clients have come on board this month alone. Three through word of mouth, which never stops meaning the world to me, two through networking, and one through a Google search. I'll admit that last one had me properly punching the air. I've put a lot of quiet, unglamorous work into my SEO over the past year, the kind of thing nobody sees or thanks you for, so having someone find me that way felt like proof it's actually working.
Between onboarding new clients and keeping things running smoothly for the ones already with me, my days have flown and my head has genuinely whirled a bit. Good busy, but busy all the same.
Alongside all that, I've been setting up something I'm really excited about. I've joined forces with Inspire & Connect Networking to launch a Bingley branch, giving local business owners another warm, supportive place to make connections closer to home. The first meeting is already in the diary for the end of September, and I can't wait to see who walks through the door.
On the podcast side, it's been a season of finishing one thing and starting the next. Season six of Strings To Your Bow has wrapped, season seven is recorded and ready to go for September 2026, and I've already started work on season eight. There's something quite satisfying about having three seasons on the go at different stages, even if it does mean my to do list rarely gets shorter.
Through all of it, I'm still turning up to my weekly networking, still trying to keep my fitness routine intact, and still doing my best to keep sociable hours rather than letting work creep into every corner of the day. Some weeks that balance holds better than others, if I'm honest, but it matters to me to keep trying.
So no, summer hasn't been quiet. It's been full, in the way that reminds you why you started something in the first place. If you're a small business owner or self employed and you're feeling that same kind of full, whirling head, you're in good company. And if some of that whirl is admin, organising or the bits and pieces that quietly pile up, that's exactly where I come in.
