Riding the Rollercoaster (and Loving Every Minute)

This month has been nothing short of amazing. You know those rare moments when everything feels like it's clicking into place? That’s where I’m at right now. New clients, new experiences, and a flurry of word-of-mouth recommendations have made it feel like the message is finally getting out there—and people are actually seeking me out. That’s surreal in the best possible way.

I’ll be honest, though. Just a few weeks ago, things felt a little uncertain. A six-month project wrapped up, leaving me with more time on my hands and noticeably less in the bank account. It was one of those moments where you take a deep breath and trust that it’s all going to work out. And thankfully, it looks like it is.

I’ve been trying new things, saying yes more often, and leaning into the unknown. It’s been a little nerve-wracking at times, but also incredibly rewarding. The truth is, when you love what you do, even the challenges feel energising (well, most of the time!).

On the personal front, I’ve thrown a couple of exciting wild cards into the mix: I’ve officially signed up for my first marathon (what have I done?!), and there’s also the small matter of my current glass exhibition. Never a dull moment, right?

And here’s the cherry on top: my little venture is about to turn one. ONE! The champagne (Aldi’s finest, of course) is already chilling, and I’m buzzing with excitement for the potential collaborations on the horizon. I’ve got a list of things I still want to achieve, and yes, new challenges seem to appear like clockwork—but honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way.

This past year has taught me that growth doesn’t always look like a straight line. Sometimes it looks like trying, trusting, pivoting, and pushing through. And right now, it feels like I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.
